It was 1983 all over again. The underdog takes it from the favorite.
The Wildcats win on a buzzer beater that will be talked about for years.
Congrats to Patrick Brayer for winning it all - his first year in the pool.
Congrats also to Swinney and George Brayer for second and third. Winners and payouts are in process.
This year marks only the third time in the 10 years of the pool (and second in the past three years) that no bracket picked the National Champion.
The final tally for underdogs ('Nova was a dog in last night's game) was 20/63 games or 31.7% which is definitely above average for a tournament. If you had picked the entire tournament correctly you would have received a total of 289 points.
