Prize Info - April 8, 2019
The prize pool is determined by the total number of paid entries into the pool less PayPal fees (some people just don't know how to gift money) and a free entry to the pool organizer which pays for the cost of the software.
This year's prize pool is $640. After deducting $20, which is returned to the last place entry (which will be Rick Buziak this year), the remaining 2019 pool will be split per the following :
First Place: $388 (which will go to Robert Rubin)
Second Place: $155 (which will go to Carlos deMelo)
Third Place: $77(which will go to either Kane Dawg if Virginia wins, or Colin O'Connell if Texas Tech wins)
Really the only thing left to be decided by tonight's game is the third place prize.
If Texas Tech wins, Robert Rubin with tie with 7 others for the 11th highest pick percentage of all time.
However, if Virginia wins, Rubin's pick percentage will tie for 7th all time and point total will be 7th all time.
Also with a Virginia win Carlos deMelo's point total will tie for 8th all time. He already has the 10th highest score all time so you could say he knows a bit about college hoops...
